Today the Research Computing Services team took a well-deserved break from servers and software to spend a day at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge.
Surrounded by vintage machines, iconic consoles, and the rich legacy of computing pioneers, we learned about the history of the technology we work with every day. From BBC Micros and ZX Spectrums to early UNIX systems and the evolution of data storage, the museum sparked great discussions about how far we've come—and where we might be heading.
The day was also a great opportunity to connect as a team, reflect on our goals, and share ideas as a team.
