A big thank you to everyone from the Research Computing Services (RCS) and Institute of Computing for Climate Science (ICCS) teams who volunteered at the Dawn stand during the Cambridge Festival Family Day at the University of Cambridge Department of Computer Science and Technology.
It was fantastic to see so many families engaging with what we do. Once again, the Dawn VR experiences and hands-on puzzles proved to be a huge hit—sparking curiosity, conversations, and plenty of smiles across all age groups.
Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of outreach and making science accessible, interactive, and fun for the wider community. None of this would be possible without the time, energy and passion of volunteers—your efforts truly made the day a success!
